The Campbell’s Company named Cassandra Green as SVP and head of supply chain, according to a Nov. 14 press release. Green was previously the SVP of manufacturing and supply chain category leadership for the CPG giant.

Green is taking the helm of Campbell’s supply chain as its previous leader, Daniel Poland, steps into the newly created position of EVP and chief enterprise transformation officer, effective immediately.

“Cass has played a critical role in transforming Campbell’s supply chain,” said Poland. “With a proven track record of leading supply chain organizations and driving business results, she is the right person to lead our continued progress.”

The new head of supply chain will report to Poland and oversee the company’s end-to-end supply chain, which includes manufacturing, procurement, customer logistics and planning and operational excellence.

Green joined the Campbell’s Company, formerly known as Campbell Soup, in 2010. Since then, she has held roles of increasing responsibility in supply chain leadership. She has overseen all aspects of the supply chain function including planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, transportation and customer service, according to the release.

The food and beverage company has undergone several changes in 2024. Besides the change of its well-known name, Campbell’s announced plans to restructure its production footprint back in May. Through a $230 million investment, the company plans for newer and more efficient plants as it aims to improve the competitiveness of its supply chain.

“To fuel growth and transform our manufacturing and distribution network, we must invest and further strengthen our supply chain,” said Poland, Campbell’s chief supply chain officer at the time. “We will continue to make the highest quality products, with a more agile, flexible, and cost-effective manufacturing network.”
