The “skin fixer” will see you now.

Skin care and aesthetics expert Dangene Enterprise has opened her first solely owned space, Dangene, in New York City at the Core Club on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 55th Street. At the 3,500-square-foot medical spa, guests can expect myriad modalities and treatments, like lasers, LED lights, oxygen machines, body contouring, microneedling, fillers and more.

Enterprise, who’s been in business for 30 years and was one of the first practitioners to have access to devices like LED lights, made a name for herself in Los Angeles as the “skin fixer” for Hollywood’s elite including some unnamed Grammy and Oscar winners.

“I only worked with musicians, actors, actresses, their lawyer, the director…the producer, those people. I was a fixer. My focus was always acne,” she said.

About 18 years ago, Enterprise brought her practice to New York City, working with several different doctors. Now, after years of partnering with other practices, Enterprise has struck out on her own. The space reflects her style with a monochromatic white palette, marble fixtures, brass accents and soft lighting. It also features mirrors by artist John Boskovich and work by sculptor Barry X Ball.

With medical spas on nearly every corner in New York City, Enterprise is always aiming to differentiate her practice.

For starters, although it shows a list of available technologies at the office on its website, the spa doesn’t necessarily have a menu to book from. Instead, clients tell Enterprise what they’re looking to change about their appearance. She then assesses what’s possible and what will be beneficial for them in the long term — not just trendy in the moment — and then provides a custom treatment plan.

“I’m known for brutal honesty…I take a look at people through the eyes of what I think is beautiful and try to make that person the most beautiful they can be,” Enterprise said. “I surround myself with a lot of equipment that will accomplish those goals. That’s how I buy equipment, based on the result it will provide. It needs to be cutting edge.”

With that in mind, Enterprise’s practice combines modalities that have been on the market for years like Hydrafacial and LED light with the latest-and-greatest like Cutera’s high-tech devices and even the salmon sperm facial.

Enterprise said she has more than 40 machines that can address an array of concerns.

“We can deal with muscles. We can deal with fat,” she said. “We can deal with tightening, brightening with brown, red, veiny, bumpy, all of the skin types and all conditions.”

However, Enterprise said some of the most commonly requested treatments are post-Ozempic skin tightening and facial sculpting.

“We are spending all day every day tightening skin,” she said.

For skin tightening, Enterprise typically offers a package of three sets of three different modalities, which would cost a patient about $15,000.

In addition to the medical spa, which is on the 16th floor of the Core Club, Enterprise has also opened The Beauty Bar on the 15th floor, which offers acupuncture, body mapping artery reading, integrated bodywork massage, vitamin infusions, injectables, manicures and pedicures, and eyelash extensions.

With seven treatment rooms — two dedicated to the medical director and master injector — Enterprise is able to see an average of six patients per day.
