But, when it comes to spraying perfume on the hair, Kessler explains that alcohol-based fragrances can be drying, so do so with caution. “Keep in mind that alcohol-based perfume can be drying for the hair, so apply sparingly and from a distance. If it is an oil-based perfume, you can dab a few drops onto your fingers and run it through your hair.” You can opt for a perfume made specifically for hair to avoid any trouble.
